modENCODE


The modENCODE project was initiated to study the genomes of D. melanogaster and C. elegans and systematically annotate functional genomic elements of these organisms. The most significant findings of modENCODE were published in 2010 in the following integrative analysis papers:

As of 2023, support to maintain the www.modencode.org and intermine.modencode.org sites have been retired following the end of funding. To access data from the modENCODE project, or for questions regarding the data they make available, please visit these databases:
